And the Angels Shouted for Joy

“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?

Tell me, if you understand.

Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!

Who stretched a measuring line across it?

On what were its footings set,

or who laid its cornerstone—

while the morning stars sang together

and all the angels shouted for joy? (Job 38: 4-7)

I can almost see that water shimmer in the sunlight. When I see the vastness of the water and sky, I feel so small…and awed that He sees me.

Sunlight and shimmery sea… always catches my heart. And, of course, the scriptural connection. Lovely, thoughtful.

For some reason, these verses remind me of the song, “My Redeemer Lives.” by Nicole Mullen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p4G2GbPYQA
It puts things in so much perspective. God is in control!! Thanks for sharing!!
